Kyle Peterson

Kyle Peterson started as an intern with the University of Iowa Olympic Strength and Conditioning staff in the Summer of 2015. His main responsibilities are data collection, development of operating procedures with data collection and visualization, specifically with wellness questionnaires, Gymaware, Omegawave, Catapult GPS and tensiomyography.  During the summer of 2015 he primarily assisted with Volleyball, Baseball, Softball, and Men’s and Women’s Swimming. Prior to interning at Iowa, Peterson served as the Head Coach for the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Weightlifting team for the past two years.

Peterson graduated from UW-La Crosse with a Master's degree in Human Performance along with a Bachelor's in Exercise and Sport Science with an emphasis in Fitness. While at La Crosse, he began his career as the Strength Coach for Central High School and after graduation spent the summer as an intern at California Strength.  He currently holds the CSCS from the NSCA and USAW-1.
